Simi Basheer

Simi Basheer has been in the role of Deputy Head of HR since 2017. Her role encompasses management of the international team verticals of recruitment, career management and administration. She is an MSF international staff in the Logistics and Flight Coordinator pools and has done missions in DRC and CAR. Prior to MSF, she was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army where she served for 10 years in various parts of India and abroad. She has done Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Kerala, India where she hails from.

Claudio Miglietta

Claudio is originally from Italy where he has his home and family and where he usually returns to in between missions. He has a background in Political Sciences and History and has been working in the humanitarian field for almost 20 years, out of which 10 with MSF as PC and HoM. His last assignment was in South Sudan with OCA as HoM. Claudio has always been very interested in working in multi-cultural and international environments, living abroad and exploring different realities, far from where he comes from. Working in this field has been a great opportunity for him to meet and see different cultures and ways of thinking; see the world through multiple perspectives and better understand and appreciate diverse communities. He likes being part of MSF, what it does and represents worldwide. Claudio likes to develop his personal interests in history, cultural differences and relations in various ways through his work and also during his spare time. Reading, for example, travelling, observing and interacting with people, trying different food and so on. Besides, he always tries to cultivate few hobbies wherever he goes and whenever he can. Sports activities like jogging or hiking are usually what he likes to do either when he is home or on a mission, he finds it very important for his mental and physical health. He also enjoys strumming guitar every now and then but says that he does not have many talents.

Ghazala Shah

More than 25 years with National and International organizations Providing Psychosocial support through Counselling & Therapeutic and Training Sessions to Drug addicts, prisoners, women & Children victims of domestic violence, Students with Learning difficulties, Acid survivors, and dealing with borderline cases of Anxiety, Stress, OCD, Phobias, Sleeping and Eating Disorders.
She is currently working as the PSU officer for the Pakistan pool.

Rabeya Khatoon

Dr Rabeya Khatoon, is a public Health Specialist with a special interest in Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MNCAH).
She started working with MSF back in 2008 in Kilinochchi, Srilanka as a Paediatrician. She joined MSF again in December 2017 to work in Rohingya Refugee camps for the Diphtheria outbreak. Currently, she is working as a Networking & Recruitment consultant with the international HR Team, South Asia. She has also worked with UNFPA, WHO, USAID,ICDDR, BPHC.

Shahid Mir

Shahid started working with MSF in 2017. He was a part of the implementation team of Global Health and Humanitarian Medicine in the South and also worked as an intersectional HR officer for MSF operations in India. In his current role, he is responsible for networking and employer branding for MSF in the region. He is interested in DEI, health data, humanitarian interventions and networking with people for MSF. Outside work, he is preparing to run a marathon for social causes someday.

Sajida Naureen

Sajida has done MS in Project Management from Comsats University, Islamabad. She worked with MOFA as an intern for the China desk. She has been working with MSF since 2019 as an International Staff Support Officer for the Pakistan expat pool. She is managing Int’l staff movements and associated processes with all OCs and is well aware of their diverse functionalities. She uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to facilitate her team. Currently, she is on detachment in Sudan with OCG as an Admin transit for three months.

Manasvi Pokhriyal

Manasvi is a Bachelor in Sociology from the University of Delhi. She has in the past, supported the Branch Office in various roles while being associated with the HR Department and was a great support in the organization of SARA General Assembly, 2018. Her last role with us was that of an Executive Assistant cum Scientific Day support in the General Director’s Office in 2019. Manasvi chooses to be associated with an organization that constantly strive to live up to humanitarian principles and this guided her back to MSF. She enjoys and appreciates art & craft and passionately follows such events in town.

Faizan Posh

He has been working with MSF since 2016. He enjoys interacting with different people to know and learn from their experiences. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys travelling.

Rhitam Chakraborty

Rhitam has started working with Medecins Sans Frontieres /Doctors Without Borders (MSF) since 2005 in the field ,HQ and other offices. He has worked in various capacities as Medical Doctor, Project Coordinator, Medical Coordinator, Career Manager and Recruiter.

Ashok Sankpal

Ashok is a Medical Doctor with a post-graduate Diploma in Public Health. He has been working with MSF in the field for the last 13 years. He has done 10 missions in contexts like South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, Jordan, Belarus, Syria, Sierra Leone and most recently in South Sudan. He has worked as an MD, MTL, Hospital Medical Director and as a Dep Med Co in his last mission. Prior to MSF, he has worked with WHO, UNICEF, ONCG & Govt of India. He is passionate about working in humanitarian activities and emergencies and wants to continue working in the field. Currently, he is working as a career management consultant for the International HR team in South Asia

Shafiq Ur Rehman

Shafiq has around 15 years of experience working with organizations like MSF, Save the Children, Action against Hunger, Alliance for International Medical Action (ALIMA) and UNDP. Shafiq has done five International missions for MSF in Liberia, South Sudan, Nigeria, Yemen and Ukraine and has experience in the field of HR operations, recruitments, performance management and learning and development. Currently, he is working as the career manager for the Pakistan Pool.

Zahid Shafi Ansari

Zahid is a medical doctor by training and is working with MSF as a career manager for the medical pool.

Suchi Sharma

Suchi has completed more than a decade of her journey with MSF. She has handled the profile of Recruiter cum Career Manager for more than 7 years before being handling the MSF SA Non-Medic and Para-Medic Pool as a Career Manager. Suchi’s experience of field life came in with a 3 month stint in Myanmar to support the Rakhine projects. She has also supported the South Korean office of MSF as their Field HR Manager for 1 month. She holds her Mphil degree in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her little son and her passion for the six yards keep her motivated and creatively busy.

Ranjan Koul

Ranjan has been with MSF since 2009 in various roles and for the past few years have been based in the MSF India Branch Office in New Delhi. Currently, he looks after learning and development for MSF in South Asia and working with various sections and offices in developing and facilitating trainings.
